Why this page exists
Regen Atelier is an independent learning studio. We do not put a famous name on our courses. Instead, we show our work: where every claim comes from, how it is checked, and how it is kept current. You should be able to judge our learning by its sources and its accuracy, not by a byline.
How a lesson is researched
- Start from the law, not the commentary. Each lesson begins with the legal text or official standard it covers, read in full, before any secondary material.
- Check what changed and when. We record the date each rule was adopted, entered into force and applies from, so lessons never mix old and new versions.
- Test it against practice. Where possible, we compare the rules with what companies have actually published in their reports, and with guidance from supervisors and standard setters.
- Write for use. Every lesson ends in something you can do: a decision, a checklist, a template or a next step.
- Review before release. A second pass checks every figure, date and citation against its source before a lesson is published.
Primary sources we use
- EU law: directives, regulations and delegated acts as published on EUR-Lex, including the CSRD, the Omnibus amendments, the EU Taxonomy and SFDR.
- Standards: ESRS and related guidance from EFRAG; IFRS S1 and S2 from the ISSB; the GHG Protocol for emissions accounting.
- Regulators and supervisors: the European Commission, ESMA and national authorities, including national transposition laws.
- Company disclosures: published sustainability statements and annual reports, used as real examples.
Secondary sources such as consultancy briefings and news coverage help us spot changes early, but we never rely on them for a rule, a date or a threshold. Every Explainer and News item on this site links to its official source.
How often content is reviewed
- Every quarter: each course is reviewed against the latest legal texts and standards, and updated where needed.
- When the rules change: a major change, such as a new delegated act or revised standard, triggers an update outside the quarterly cycle.
- Every update is dated: lessons and pages show when they were last updated.
Who presents our lessons
Our video lessons are presented by Luca, an AI presenter. Luca is a digital avatar with a synthetic voice; he is not a real person. The scripts he presents are researched, written and reviewed by the Regen Atelier team using the method above. We use an AI presenter so we can update lessons quickly when rules change, without re-filming.
What our learning is, and is not
Our courses are education, not legal, accounting or investment advice. For decisions about your own organisation, check the official texts and take professional advice. Regen Atelier is not affiliated with EFRAG, the European Commission, the ISSB or any organisation named on this site.
